tell me if this is right regarding pio shotss>
upper outer quadrant of butt..... warm or make sure oil is room temp..... pull back to make sure no blood...
after massage area and if i can use a warm heating pad??
any other tips?
only done delestrogen shots before and if dh was a milimeter off the target area...i woudl scream in pain.....

You may also want to use the heating pad before the injection as well as after.Try to put more pressure on the opposite leg of the one where you'll be receiving the injection. Your husband should also hold the injection site taut as he inserts the needle. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Spread the skin taught to inject...Makes a huge difference...
I also bend over the sink and bend the leg inwards slightly on the side thats is getting the shot

i always iced for 5-10 minutes prior. the nights where i iced it better i would barely feel anything. def using a heating pad after for at least 20 minutes. if i used it shorter i would feel lumps and bruising the next day.
PIO sucks but its the only thing that will actually raise your blood serum progesterone, so if you need it, its worth it!
ETA it also bled a lot less when i iced it well

When i was on the shots I iced it too.
I did use a heating pad afterward to help break up the oil in the area because, it tends to ball up.. and those bumps hurt like he!!
the hotter the oil b4 u do the injection the easier it is to inject.
